Fiat Stilo 1.2 16 3Dr light adjustment

Posted 25-02-2013 at 14:40 by toby14692

Hello,

Never used this before but thought it would be worth a try. I have had a 1.2Fiat Stilo for about a year now and as im sure is the same with all othermodels, there is a adjustor button of some type on the right hand side of thesteering wheel. Is this the head light adjustor? I have tried changing thesetting a number of times but nothing happens to the height of the dipped beam.

I was wondering if anyone knows if this is infact the headlight adjustor andif so, if it is supposed to work (might be to do with the car spec perhaps). Not hugely worried at the moment but as I do a lot of fishing and have quite abit of weight in the back it would be nice to adjust the lights accordingly(Nothing worse than being blinded by oncoming traffic at night).

Any responses appreciated .

Toby

Yes... the up/down arrow buttons on the "MODE" button switch panel are for adjusting the height of the headlamp beams when carrying a load in the back of the car.

Please post any further Stilo related queries in the Stilo section of the forum here: www.fiatforum.com/stilo

Ok, I guess there may be a fault somewhere along the line then. Not to concerned now though as I may be getting a 1.8 Stilo in the next month

Ahh right I thought there was probably a different place to post it.

    Thanks for your reply.

If your car is under a year old it may still be under warranty, even though you're looking to buy a new car it may be worth getting it looked at if you intend to sell your 1.2 Fiat Stilo.
