Simple terminology inquiry

Hello,
Can anyone tell me the full meaning of the ignition lettering "MAR" ? This is on the car and also throughout the handbook(s).
Thanks for your education.
Geoff.

Re: Simple terminology inquiry

MAR is as pointed out an abbreviation of Marcia.

Basically the ignition "RUN" position for the ignition switch as opposed to OFF or START.
