@paganeli panda
yes... that's the beauty. :D:D :worship:
there are a lot of pictures on Facebook under Fiat Barchetta group.

@Nino_1975
thanks for bulbs... this is very usefully when ordering from ebay... on a lot of items is description that bulb fits to: Maserati, golf1, ford mustang and barcheta... was a litle suspected about that. thanks again.

Re: bubl codes

a note on rear/brake lights replacement by leds... not all B's like that.

When i tried that, the "broken bulb" light on the dash came on as soon as i hit the brake.
An issue with different resistance in the leds versus traditional bulb. So you might need to try out a few (not so cheap) brands, or go for a brand that offers an optional extra ballast/resistor to put inline with the rear/brake lights.

You might run into a similar issue with the blinkers too.. you'll have to replace them all, and they still might blink a load faster then before :confused:

Beware of the really cheap chinese ebay led bulbs. However, you might be able to buy a complete box of them for the price they are at Halfrauds :)

Re: bubl codes

broken bulb light? i didn't notice that light on dash... if i remember right, there is some blank hole on dash for some light... but no wires and no bulb were there... :confused:

thanks for info, but i think that older models doesn't have that broken bulb checking. we'll see... (y)

Re: bubl codes

HI

Brake lights are ok with the LED's stright in but the indicator ones require a resistor so that the engine management thinks it's still using the correct voltage if not the bulb will flash rather quickly.

If you have the new kind of boot lid (3rd Brake light) you will find the 3rd light will stay on when the tail lights are on where perviously it only came on when you brake.

LED's look nice on the indicators. However if your lights have weather damage then can be dimmer. Look for 22 LEDS min. Do not get the cheap ones.

Re: bubl codes

i know what do you mean.... there is some module that you have to install, but this is for xenon lights... or you put some resistor. but then the consumption of electricity the same as with ordinary bulb.

btw: brake light is one bulb with two annealing threads (position and brake)... i don't know how will LED bulb handle this...

don't have new boot lit... i installed 3rd brake light under boot lid, you can see on signature.

it is actually the (hand)brake indicator light that doubles as "broken bulb" indicator for teh brakelights... remove one brakelightbulb and you see :)

Going to try that tonight.... teehee.

The LED's go brighter as you press the brake. I used to have them on my last B and they looked good. You will need the resistors for the Indicator bulbs. Go for 22LED's for each. Just go to E-Bay and type stop and tail LED. (y)(y)(y) (£12+ for a pair is what you will pay) They flash crisper. I tried to explain to my misses about LED's and kept getting this sign :tosser: :spam:

:D leather, whip 'n' spur, i have to somehow handle all horses in barchetta...
mine repeaters don't looks like that. they are more "pointy" and spiky... probably first models have those nipples-like repeater. will post pictures of nipples after work... heck, that's in two weeks. :bang:

Re: bubl codes

I remember reading somewhere that zapatides the designer based the design on the notion of a sleeping woman, so I would argue nipples for side repeaters would be very apt and in par with the deign concept! I am keeping my nipples! :D:D
