My wifes 2003 LTD "B" has a niggling problem and I need some help please.
If we leave the car alone for about a week the battery flattens, nothing is left on,we dont even use the alarm or lock it but it still flattens the battery. The battery is new and we have to use a trickle charger otherwise its no go.If we use the car daily it has no problems, its when we stop using it in bad weather, any ideas, thanks in advance

Never happened to me, but I didn't have an alarm. I seem to remember this being discussed before though. If I find the thread I'll post it up.

I've sorted it,it was the sub in the rear speaker panel,it was getting constant power,I've disconnected it now,it was always crap and muffled from new,I actually get a better sound without it now, thanks anyway, cheers

Hi Abruzzo,

If you don't want it would you consider selling it to me? Can't recall what the going rate is but PM me and name your price. I've always wanted the standard sub.

Thanks,

Matt

sorry mate I put the sub box back in cos it looks daft without it

:D lots of daft looking Bs about then!;)
but when you have bought one with it in,it looks daft without it and I thought they were standard fitment up until yesterday.
Now all i gotta do is find why the power lead to the removed sub is constant and not switchable and also find where it comes from.I'll do that the next time the missus isnt using it,unless someone out there knows where and why.lol
