It's called Silk Black, it is black with a red glow in it like aubergine. It is a color introduced for the 1999 LE model, with red interior and stitched red leather seats

I have the same colour barchetta as you and have fitted one of the stainless barchetta badges to the back and think it looks great. Have had several other barchetta owners ask where I bought it from as they wanted one too so can't look too bad!

Keep it well waxed someone a while back was saying that their's went all rusty..

Rusty because off the color ???? Haven't been working on the badge yet, still waiting for my speakers to show up, 3 weeks already, they were on my doorstep today, but I was working, surprise !!
The B is waiting in the garage for some descent weather, this weekend is the first tour from the dutch club, so hope the sun is out.

ROBOT found that the back of his badge had turned rusty when he removed it from his b (after stuffing it into a crash barrier!!

And I understand the rust under the badge, the original badge should be glued to prevent water entering the 2 small holes.....Any other badge should also shield the holes.

Well, kind of English, but still very cool, can you do that the other way around :worship:

Take a surf through some of the threads, I can't read or write in Dutch but am fairly sure some of those translations are dodgy - if not they have a few 3 year olds on the forum!!

For sure, although if my posts were translated as gibberish the translator software is probably working fine!!

Anyway, this doesn't need translation.
Great opening of the season today, with not so great weather. Not a dry moment all day. However somebody was able to show off the nice Weissman hardtop this way. The tour was about 160 km, 200+ contenders (Barchetta and other 2 seater convertibles were invited) and very well organised. All the timing went great and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Check the BCN wevsite for official report. Till then enjoy these pics of B's

No idea but more than 80 B's here today I think.
