Just wondering has anyone got one of these or does anyone know exactly what is inside it?
Im used to having a sub in the car and if i can find one of these may be easier than fitting one somewhere else
Thanks

Mark

Thanks for the quick replies. Excellent, least someone here has already done it. Though if the internals are that bad, I may just have to take over the boot :D
Cheers

The Fiat OEM speaker box is great, its a shame the internals are a load of pants. Buy the box for £100 then fit an amp in the boot and replace the fiat speakers. Also fit some tweeters at the same time as its not much more work as you have things in bits..

FYI: Bin the speaker box internal amp its crap 2.

I have posted pics in my docorangepeel thread and in other speaker box threads on the Fiat forum.

Happy to help Oz if you need any info (y)

First tip is start saving your cash :D you will need it for all these mods.

Give ebay.de a look, thats the place OEM most speaker boxes turn up. (y)

Around £80 -£100 is OK. You will also need to order a few special bolts from Fiat for the speaker box. Let me know when you have the box and I will give you the Fiat part numbers for the bolts.

Just missed one on there last week.
Cheers Doc, ill keep looking and let you no when i find one.
What exactly is inside it though?
Cheers

Mark

Inside is a little amp and two speakers.

Below is a few pics showing the amp that i pulled out and one of the 2p speakers that Fiat fitted into the speakerbox. What was Fiat thinking

As you can see from the last pic I have fitted two tweeters and mounted the crossovers on the outside of the box. This is an easy job thats a nice simple extra mod you can do at the same time.

Nope the box fits in the space so you cant put stuff on the shelf anymore. On the plus side you can have the sub and the Fiat OEM windstop together. Thats what I have on my B.

You cant have the sub box and chrome hoops together.
