Its a better place 2 have it then I did as I had to cover my rad top pipe and manifold to keep the engine bay a little cooler.

This is an old pic of how I used to have it m8 and I did have porblems with the hot air being sucked in.

I would see how the filter is in the wet, the last thing you want is 2 suck water into the engine.

If there was a better or worse day to check the filters placement it was this morning. Terrible rain on the way up to leicstershire .

No probs with sucking in rain, but i must admit i have been cautious not to hit any large puddles.

Think i will need to put some kind of shielding to protect it.
