Coronavirus - The Thread :(

The best thing one can practise in 'mass media' and 'politician' distancing.

This article from the Executive Editor of the British Medical Journal summarises the situation, titled 'COVID-19 - politicisation, corruption, and suppression of science':

Youngest grandson got sent home from pre school with a cough and daughter told to call 111. he then had to go for a test and now has to stay home and wait results, pretty sure he only coughs there because they have the heating on full blast,

Came back negative by text just now, as suspected.:)

My wife was speaking to our daughter yesterday, a charge nurse, and she said that a man with covid 19 traveled from London on public transport all the way to Raigmore hospital in Inverness. Nothing booked accommodation wise. So now he’s probably infected people on his journey up here, and now in a bed being looked after by hospital staff who should be seeing to other people.

Seriously you just couldn’t make this up. (n)

If he survives, he should be prosecuted for recklessly endangering lives.
Unfortunately there is no cure for stupid.
Covid might be a cure in this case, but sadly it isn't selective.

Sadly following the example set by members of government... :bang:

Hes not come from Westminster,London has he..?

On the last friday before the England lockdown I had an errand to run in our small town.

It was like Xmas eve.. absolute pandemonium.. cars double parked..etc

Pavements were heaving.. as I was driving slowly-looking to return .
I noticed a woman on the path
Shout and rush over to an elderly woman and give her a 'bear hug'

Thats not generally how you greet somebody from your own household .. 'long time no see' no mask of course :(

It is 30 minutes, and initially takes a bit of perseverance, but I found it quite interesting.
Summary: MMR combined vaccine seems to have triggered the body to create a stronger response than if the three vaccines had been administered separately. Also a stronger response than having had any, or all of the illnesses. Those who've had the MMR vaccine, seem to have a stronger response to Covid. This guy is suggesting there needs to be more research, as it seems the MMR vaccine may help us resist covid.

Great for those who got the MMR vaccine. Not so good for those of us older, who got all our vaccination before the MMR was created.

And then you have that well know quack Andrew Wakefield who used "dodgy data" to put so many parents off having their children vaccinated so that now we have a dangerously low take up of MMR. My fear is that Measles will make a return and will cause huge damage not just to children but to their teachers, parents and adults too.
O'h for the days of discussing a misfire or the best way to weld up a rusty floor pan!

Weve still got a classic panda section ;)
