We've already seen the the Abarth Punto Evo Supersport at various motorshows (see image below) but until now we just assumed it was going to be a special edition. It looks like things have changed somewhat.
The new Abarth Punto Supersport (notice the Evo tag has been dropped) will replace both the Abarth Punto Evo and the EsseEsse versions. It will feature 180 bhp and black versions of the APE's Scorpion wheels. As yet I do not know what else has been carried over from the EsseEsse spec cars other than the BHP figure.

Quote from the Italian Abarth Website:
You can tell at first glance, the new Punto Supersport is unmatched and is ready to conquer all with its aggressive and his sportsmanship elevated to the nth degree. With 180 hp engine, the performance grows exponentially to reach the 216 km / h top speed and a draw length from 0 to 100 km / h in just 7.5 seconds . But the personality of the Supersport is not only inside the hood. It is also known outside with specific techniques even more aggressive (modified exhaust system, Brembo braking system with perforated discs) and a two-tone livery of great visual impact.
