Abarth Evo

Hi all,
I'm thinking of selling my Sporting and buying an Abarth Evo,
Does anyone else like the look of the Abarth Evo or is it just me.

It all depends on the price of course but the tech of the evo seems to be a nice option especially the normal and sport button and the 165 ps with the added fuel and co2 savings from the multiair,
I test drove the Abarth GP and liked it but went for the Sporting instead.
Oh well i can see another test drive looming.

Abarth Evo will be nice, it looks really good, and it comes with all the kit the normal Evo does, so it'll be very good quality feel & not plasticy.

But the price is bound to be 20k or more for the base Abarth Evo.

Abarth Evo, no sign of a release date yet though? unless theres been news just recently.

There's only 1 i can think of & he isnt very forum active, but he did say it goes like stink & hes happy with it.

That said there's a couple on order & April is the big delivery dates the dealerships have been quoting everyone so one will pop up soon enough!

I have a sporting on Order, when it comes to the Abarth though for the money you can get much better cars, the 500 abarth is cool because its a 500 but punto? might aswell get something a bit more high end than a glammed up fiat?

Depends really...

20,000 for the average joe just looking for a car, he'd just get a 1.6 high-end Focus... someone with money & after a rapid car, fan of fiats... im sure he'd seriously consider an Abarth Evo, I have no doubt it'll be a very nice car.

VW Golf GTI - 26,000
Ford Focus ST - 23,000
Astra VXR - 23,000

Theres a quick look at prices of cars in that kind of price range (before extras), personally i would go for Focus ST... but once i see the petrol consumption + tax/insurance on a 2.5 Litre tyre muncher, id be looking at the Abarth Evo, which'll be rapid, fully loaded & cheaper to run all across the board + will be a "unique" car as not many will be sold, also Abarths hold there value pretty well... a Focus ST certainly doesn't.

Of course, the Abarth Evo might not be 20,000... it could be more, it could be abit less.

(Before anyone flames me for going up in segments, Fiesta/Corsa don't have a competing car for that price tag, plus there rubbish.)

BMW 1 series ? 177bhp for around 20,000 on a diesel with 60mpg was what i was going to get before my budget got smaller and I got the sporting

Well, when the Sporting has a standard list price of 15,500 you have to wonder don't you

Re: Abarth Evo

An Evo Sporting costs more than an Abarth?

An Evo Sporting costs nearly as much as my Bravo?!

What is a Bravo with multiair going to cost? 25k?!

Evo Sporting is a completely different car to the GP Abarth it's not always about how fast it can go, for me a fast but economical engine is perfect!

Bravo haha nevermind, I would rather pay for the Evo than get a second rate failed model like the bravo (no offence each to their own )

Who says that they are going to make a Bravo with multiair? Wouldn't surpies me if the Bravo dissapeared again!

Indeed, who would want a beautiful car like a Bravo when you can scare small children away with the front of your Evo?
