I feel like taking the new TA for a spin to Europe but want to include mountains and do some hill walking, What would be a good trip for 4 nights (inc 2 days for travel).

Was thinking Zurich as the 1st stop after an overnight in France and on from there. Like to stop at foothills of Italy, but not in deserted towns. Any ideas ?

I did some travelling on a hired bicycle from Geneva around the lakes (meet a couple of teachers on bikes and was invited to share a room with them to save on costs) in a nice quaint hotel South of the lakes near Evian. Completed the 'lap' and then 'over' Chamonix down into Berne. Hopped on a train (there was no road up the mountain) and got off at a place called Kandersteg. I re-visited this in the winter for my first skiing trip bringing my partner whom I later married.

In a Twin Air I don't know if there would be much point in looking for the best driving roads or best alp descents but I suppose it would be a trip to remember giving the TA its virgin voyage.
