Technical Check engine light in line at fast food

Twice now while in line at fast food my car starts to smell, and the check engine and transmission light comes on and it goes into lockout mode has anyone else experienced this?

The engine temperature is showing normal.

do you have manual or automatic transmission ? The automatic DDCT transmission would be known for such issues ...
