Hello fellow L owners-picked up new Lounge on Friday Unfortunately we took it out today and found that the inside smells of petrolSeems to be when the heater is blowing cold -will take back to dealer tomorrow and will let you know the outcome- This seems to feature on quite a few 500 posts so hopefully it can be easily sorted

Yeah, the 500 section used to be littered with posts like this. Was often down to the breather pipe cracking, which then created the smell of petrol in the cabin.

Hopefully you will get to the bottom of it though, it might be something completely different to that.

Thanks - the dealer reckons that "the oil breather pipe had come adrift"
Having looked at and fixing it ;touch wood it seems ok
