I have just replaced the spark plugs last week. Last night, when pushing the car on a highway, I saw a momentarily engine light on the dash. After arriving home, my OBDII scanner shows a P0300 code. It seems multiple engine misfire. I am wondering whether it is the fuel filter after 170k done. I don't think any service previously mentioned about fuel filter change.

I also cannot find where the fuel filter is and wondering whether it is DIY job to replace the fuel filter.

Timing belt change was done about 6 months ago.

The other possibility is the fuel injectors... what do you think?

Thanks that was going to be my next question, this forum is the bee's knees, noob friendly too. I've learnt so much from reading people's posts. I feel like the new kid at school, but I've had nothing but great advice, without feeling like a pain in the butt.

Fair play people, your a great crowd [emoji106]

How did you get on with your DTC P0300 ? Did you manage to get to the bottom of this problem ? I am having the same error and am about to try and find out why my car is misfiring ?
