I have a Fiat 500 Lounge 62 plate (2012) and only got it yesterday.
It needs a new MOT in 2 weeks and doing a check over, the flash/high beam isn't working although the blue icon light on the dash comes on.
Funny thing when you select the dipped beam and then click the arm back, the high beam works.

Any help is really appreciated.

Shouldn't be an mot issue new stalk I would suggest?
Are you sure the high beam works, set into the bumper , just confirming?
And out of interest do the drls work?

DRIS? Is that the small light under the main headlight? Then no, its actually missing at the mo. I bought the car as a Cat N so it needs a little bit of panel work and a new small light. Would that make a difference?

Day running lights, these are the lights in the bumper that serve as DRL'S, side lights and contain the main beam which is obviously separate from the dip headlight above so if one is totally missing then you'll have no beam that side, and maybe the other is broken/disconnected hence no main beam?
And control stick in car probably fine.

The day running lights are often switched off via the menu when people can't be bothered to change the bulb/s, pure laziness?

Is it April 1st? No light working but has the light missing. Errrh, that might be why.

To be fair, the 500's unusual lighting setup can be a bit confusing to the uninitiated.
