Hi, was wondering if someone could help identify the part I need, it has sheared off the side on the engine as in the picture, it is a coolant part as the radiator has drained , thanks

Found the problem, plastic connector to thermostat housing

Was going to say the thermostat. Make sure you get a NON GENUINE replacement as Fiat ones have the cack plastic connector.

Once fixed be EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH THE BLEED VALVE SCREW don't open it when hot ! I would also flush the system several times to get the crap out if the cars over 6 years old I would also replace the metal pipe behind the exhaust manifold.

Defiantly will, seen some with metal connectors, will last a lot longer than this one
