Can anyone give me some advice please.

Just purchased a 2008 500 m-jet 1.3d
While driving home the dash displayed CHECK ENGINE no other warning lights.

Then went in to limp mode.

Any help would be appreciated.

car need to have diagostics done on it not really any other way about it see what error code it is throwing up and what i thinks is the problem

where about are you from as a forum member may be able to help?

Hi need more advice.

New egr fitted check engine cleared runs great.

This week same again check engine comes back on remove egr test all works fine.
Remove inlet manifold to find totally sludged up.
Anyone else have this problem or had this problem.

Car had a life of short runs? Maybe it needs a clean out and monitoring, is the oil level good and when was the oil last changed?
Does it emit any smoke when it’s revved?

If it goes into limp when accelerating, check the turbo's wastegate isn't carboned up and seized solid.
