Hello guys,
Just an update, am at 115,000 kms on my Fiat 500 which was bought new 09/10.
My third battery has been replaced after it left me stuck for the 2nd time. Car was fine when being driven and would start, but the second i leave the emergency flash lights on for more than 15 minutes, the car could not be started without the battery needing to be charged. Did a Bosch battery test, which said that the battery should be replaced.
(car is an auto so push starting it out of the question.)
As a consolation, this uprated Bosch battery died after 27 months compared to the 18 months the first 2 Fiat supplied batteries lasted.
Very annoying that i was three months out of warranty, so had to pay 90 Euros for its replacement.
Oh well, at least I won't have a problem for the next 27 months or so as i replaced it with the new version of the same battery that just died on me.
