Hi,
My fiat 500 (59 plate) has no aux-in jack and so I bought a new head unit - a JVC KD-R441. My boyfriend tried to fit it in my car this afternoon, but when it was plugged in the cd slot made a noise but no lights appeared on the display...we then tried it in his car and it worked perfectly!

I have read on other threads that it may be due to differing voltages, but has anyone been able to fix this issue easily without spending a ridiculous amount of money?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you get a CANBUS adapter to suit the 500? If not it won't work.
