Hi everyone,

Picked up my TA 500S on Saturday, it's every bit as awesome as I'd hoped it would be. Wanted one for as long as they have been around, even before I could drive!

I do feel a bit bad though, as I only had to wait a few days for it. The dealership had almost my exact spec (except wheel colour) in stock due to it being a cancelled business order that same week. I was going to get a 1.2 but after test driving the TA I was convinced.

My salesman wasn't as convinced about black wheels on a black body until he saw it though, but I knew it was what I wanted.

Looks good. The TA is a lot of fun, but it is like Marmite, you either love or hate. I had mine for 18 months and thoroughly enjoyed the experience without regret.

Love the TA. We have both TA and 1.2.
Those black wheels look awesome on black car. Really great choice.

I'd go with that. I think it suits the car perfectly - it's a good laugh. But can see how people find it strange or irritating.

Have to agree, if someone doesn't 'get' the TA then nothing will convince them why some of us love it. If you want a 500 and want a cheap to run car the 1.2 is probably your best bet, however I am happy to sacrifice the ecconomy for the smile I have on my face when I'm behind the wheel of my TA.

To the OP, never been a great fan of black on black but that seems to work and I'm sure it looks even better in the metal congratulations
