Hi all,

Ive been trying to decide on changing the exhaust system, or perhaps just the rear muffler.
I have three options
1. Supersprint which is available in my country
2. Novitec which are well known in the ferrari industry
3. Magneti Marelli which i have to order too.

I have a 1.4 500 V16 100hp '10
i will not be removing the centre muffler atleast for the time being. just the axle back unit.
Main reason for me changing the backbox is to get some crackling or changing tones from the exhaust.

I would like some input from you guys and girls. :D

There are links on the FF to the various back boxes and how they sound. The vote appears to go with the Ragazzon and if you can 'get away with it' the Group N spec it might make all the sounds that you're looking for. Gazzella list one but a lot have had trouble dealing with them.

Supersprint will be expensive (their manifolds are sought after) and the Marelli didn't sound great.

What kind of prices would you be paying for the 3 you have listed ?

Yea ive seen some rants about Gazella racing, so i am hesitant to buy from there. The group N does sound good, but dont i need a straight centre pipe!!?
Is the only place to buy ragazzons, gazella racing>>>>>>?
Supersprint i can get for around $350-400$ from our local dealer maybe a bit less. Supersprint centre pipes are super expensive :bang:

The novitec lands for $300 without shipping.

Have you seen some novitec exhasut videos around here because i cant get my mouse around them.

You can get the Raggazzon from here. Haven't used them. Prices for the various parts are on the 'drop down'. Re the straight centre pipe AFAIK you can still retain the centre silencer but most seem to replace them with a straight through since it might free it up a little bit. Seems to be the most favoured option and prices look reasonable especially for the full exhaust system. Unsure if a re-map would be needed if this 'route' was taken.

The Magnet Marelli can be got off TMC. Note that the price is for a Twin outlet and the grade of stainless might be better. Possibly the more authentic 'add on' if you like the sound of it.

You could try contacting Novitec directly for a video clip of their exhaust. Youtube has one for a Bravo but can't be sure if its for the NA 1.4.

lool i just found the same website u referred me to. Prices do look good though. Regarding the remap, we have something here called PP Performance from Germany check them out They do ECU remaps for the Fiat 500 will have to think about it and maybe do both the centre pipe and this.

Though i did not get how people still keep the centre silencer and perforate the pipe going through. ill have to sleep on it.
TBH am not leaning towards the MM unless i get the MM centre pipe too. sound great

One more concern this american version Fiat 500 exhaust systems, should i be concerned about the compatibility??(n)
