Hello we currently own a 2008 1.2 lounge ivory interior BNW 16" sport alloys and recently decided to change due to the new Twinair being released, My other half and I went to have a look at a Twinair lounge quite prepared to do a deal if we were impressed. We liked Volare Blue in the pictures however this was a disappointment in the metal! So however we drove the Twinair I thought bloody fantastic little engine, the wife drives and much to my shock it was too noisy and she couldnt live with it. Also the demo was drinking lots of fuel we did vary the roads and tried it for nearly an hour. Gutted. Then she sees a 500c and fell in love long story short we ordered a 1.2 BMW 500C black roof/ ivory interior with 16" alloys. Its due late March... however my gut feeling is we should have gone with a Twinair 500c, just because of the fantastic energy of the little two pot.

Well I would say that you played safe - nothing wrong with that. And if it's noisy as a tin top it won't be any better with the roof back!

Russell, I think you have made the right decision. If the car had been exclusively for you then maybe the TwinAir might have been the one.

Speaking from my own experience, if the wife isn't happy and she is the main driver then go with that and avoid the mistake I made.
