I picked up our new 500 1.2 Pop Dualogic today from the dealer and noticed two things that don't sound right.

First the Instrument Panel has an ear piercing high pitch buzz, sounds a bit like when your PC is connecting to a modem. This happens when changing gear and/or stepping on the brakes whether in manual or automatic.

The next thing I noticed is to do with the brakes. There is a grinding noise when applied and there is a clunking noise when released. They also feel rather spongy for a new car. Again this happens whether in manual or automatic.

I wonder if anyone has experienced similar problems to these?

This is most likely due to surface corrosion on the brake discs & should quickly wear off as you drive the car - absolutely normal and nothing to worry about unless it persists.
