Anyone know where I could get my hands on something like this for a Fiat 500:

I've been through 2 sets of top mounts now and before I go coilovers I'd be very interested in fitting something like this instead of the standard mounts which seem to be made of the softest craptastic rubber available. Anyone got any ideas or leads on a local engineering firm that could modify/fab me custom ones?

Not local, but only a phone call or email away and they have them in development: http://www.vsm.skf.com/se-SE/News/General/2008/Fiat500.aspx

Wow Zakt. Your google-fu astounds me. Thanks. :)

I've bought quite a few products form Rallydesigns - wishbones and compression struts mainly - and have always found them useful

As u will know from changing your top mounts they don't have the locator studs like the ones pictured.

U need to look to cars with similar like the Clio & who makes the alloy top mounts you can buy for them.

So try compbrake, They have a prototype one off service handy if you kept a pair of old mounts. I have there top mounts on my integrale fixed position mount with replaceable bearing, they do Clio ones.

AST in Holland also do top mounts, as do K-tec & Mark Fish motorsport though K-tec only do Renault & Mark is a multiple championship winning race engineer who makes the most expensive (because of race spec bearings) but beatiful top mounts for Clios.
