Been talking to HEL Performance about getting some stainless braided lines for the 500. Turns out that the Abarth kits do fit the 1.2, in fact it would appear that the 500 brake hoses are universal across the range.

The hoses, on the face of it appear to be good quality, with stainless fittings as opposed to plated steel like other, well known hose manufacturer.

So for £59 I can get some lovely stainless braided hoses. Marvellous.

Interesting, wonder if all Fiat's (collaborations like the Ulysse and Grande Punto aside) use the same fittings? I've looked previously before for other cars and it's truly a minefield where the fittings can be different for one car depending on whether it's got drums on the back, what size discs etc etc.

Quick update on the hoses.

It seams that nobody makes a kit for the 1.2 (not much need I guess). The rear hoses are universal across the 500 range, the fronts are different.

But HEL have done me a free set as I have suppied them with a front hose to use as a pattern, should be with me tomorrow.
