Looks fantastic...;)

Q: Did the bouncy effect disappear?
It seems that when the car is loaded the suspension works better?

She's still a bit bouncy. I'm thinking of ditching the 30mm lowering springs and going for a proper coilover kit to sort out the damping mess. Also hopefully by summer when I do this someone will have sorted out a polybush kit ti sharpen things up as well.

No one seems to make a polybush kit yet. I suppose I could put it up on the hoist and measure all the existing ones up and see if I can order polybushes indiviudually. That seems a pain in the arse though. And no guarantee. Does eper show dimensions on bushes?

Could always contact a reputable manufacturer of bushes and get them to make up a kit.

Powerflex are in Uxbridge and Superflex or in Somerset. My reccomendation would be Whiteline who are an Australian company who specialise in Subaru suspension bits and not just bushes so there would be the potential for bushes which give more/less caster, camber and change the roll centre of lowered cars etc etc.

If the Panda and 500 share bushes then a company may find it more profitable to make a kit.

I checked the panda route and no luck. And others here have approached manufacturers and had no luck.

Although whiteline might be more responsive. I have my eye on a couple of ARBs from whiteline for the mr2. I wonder if they'd be more open to the idea if I suggested it while buying some of their goodies?

I wanted some adjsutable lower wishbones for one of my race cars, nobody had them, so I designed & manufactured lower wishbones from Titanium. I was so pleased with the job that I then did some Ti front uprights & upper suspension arms.

Sometimes it's easier to make bits yourself.
True but then again it is usually cheaper and easier to buy something off the shelf.

If anyone wants to buy me a birthday present (July 7 btw :p ) I'd quite like some adjustable rear control arms for the Subaru :p It doesn't need them, they just look nice :p

If I designed and manufactured suspension components for the 500 and fitted them I'd go deaf from all the cries of "OMG TEH WARRANTTY IS VOID!"

:D

So the Panda uses different bushes does it? A bit strange really to do all that work to change parts for no good reason.

No, I mean I looked for Panda as well about a year ago and couldn't find any. I've not been underneath a Panda and mine at the same time to see if they're massively different. I shouldn't imagine so but then weirder things have been known to happen.

Well perhaps someone needs to have a look on ePER and see if the part numbers tally and also what other Fiats possibly use the same bushes. Like I said before it might be a lot more financially viable for someone to manufacture bushes. Just looking on the powerflex site the Cinquecento, Seicento, Punto and Uno share some or all of their bushes so it could be that the 500 and Panda use the same bushes already anyway :)
