Styling Instructions for Wing Mirror, Abar and Bonnet Mod

I know I had a few questions about fitting Fiat 500 Genuine products and the there were many threads, all were helpful but missing visual instructions.

So after my Original Cindy 2.0 upgrade thought it may be of use to post the official fiat instruction sheets here.

Yes a few are crumpled but better than nothing!

Hope this helps answer fitting questions especially the wing mirrors.

A Bar -

Bonnet Chrome
Once this is on it is stuck down good and proper! So make sure it is properly lined up and centred with masking tape as a guide or you will need fishing line to unpick it and then need sealant!

Wing Mirrors
As previously advised; when un-clipping the mirror start at the edge away from the car not closest to the car. Rest is pretty obvious!

I like the instructions at the end of the A-bar fitment guide, the car wash one should read 'EVER', not '72H' ;)

Has anybody noticed the car in the illustration looks uncannily like an Alfa 145?:)

Also, can anybody tell me if goth blue is the same as the Italian colour option 'bastian contrario' ? The translation seems to mean contrary opinion, which would suggest the pastel colour as opposed to metallic.

(awaiting goth blue 500)

I knew the car wash would set you off Lloyd.

I doubt they have a logo for microfibre wash mit - the logo's are quite comedy with the instructions. I thought one of them prevented me from driving in a wind tunnel.

The gear stick one is even better it's real photos but at a quality level where you can't see anything worth while! Will post once I've fitted the gear stick!

Once I've fitted the gear stick this weekend venters I will turn this section into a guide.

:)
*waits for the first person to come along and say "I know there's a guide to how to do it but I couldn't be bothered reading as it looked complicated, how do I fit the wing mirror/a-bar/bonnet chrome?"*

:ROFLMAO:

I got a good deal on one of the new ivory leather gear sticks on ebayand thought it would finish off my car.

:)
so would you like to part with your old mirror covers. or are you saving them for when you sell it ???

I bought the black leather gear knob and gaiter after I bought the car. That's after convincing the service people to sell it to me. They told me I had a 6 speed car and the leather gaiter has a plaque with the 5 speed pattern. I said fine, sell me the whole thing, I'll us the gearknob only. The leather gaiter comes as standard on the 1.4 lounge. It took me half an hour to convince them.

Anyway, the leather knob makes a huge difference in comfort. You'll love it.

btw: free to a good home, one 5 speed leather gaiter. pm me and paypal me the postage :)

Diggin up an old thread, but !!:)

I have black wing mirrors, do the Chrome covers clip over these? or do i need to remove the existing "cover" (if it is one?) before hand???

Cheers
