I was wondering if anyone worked or knew of anyone who works in the plastic moulding industry? I want to make a longer rear wheel arch lip i.e. that dark plastic strip that protrudes the wheel arch to stop road crap going on the rear bumper. I noticed it stops a few inches short from the bottom where most of the road crap if flung up by the rear wheel. I am guessing this is done if you want to install a rear mudflap which would be in the way. Having bought a rear mudflap I don't really like the look and an extended strip would be a lot more suttle. any ideas anyoen.

Alain: It would be a good idea to fit front mud flaps too, I'm so annoyed, i have a few chips now on the soft plastic side skirts and on both front wheels i have a few finger nail type scuffs from flying stones! I thought the wheels had a hard finish but apparently not! Just beware, only had the car 10 days and it already has a fair few paint blemishes. I wish somebody would sort these cheap Welsh roads out, the kind where it's a bit or tar with a few stones thrown on top then they more or less leave it up to the passing cars to press them down! Grrrrr.....

We have the crappiest roads in western Europe, you have to go far east to find worse, and there they aren't crowded, so you can at least enjoy the driving.
