I think there must be a law somewhere that states

'Only one Fiat 500 may traverse a given piece of road at a given time'

I have seen a few on the road, but never when I am driving mine!

cheers

Well you'll never guess what happened today on the way home .... in my 500 .. saw something very cute and VERY yellow coming the other way .... convinced it must be a Micra or something .. our first ever 500 on the road encounter!!! YEEEEEE HA!! We waved - he thumbs up!!(y)

I've only seen 2 500's on the roads so far and I've been in the panda both times. Thougth I'd wave but then the 500 drivers might of taken me for a mentalist so decided not too...

Do you think Aston Martin owers feel like this when they see another one???

Oh, do wave!! (y)Since owning the 500 I've noticed all the new Pandas and want to wave at them! (Nothing against the originals, you just don't see any)

Where are all the 500s hiding?????

As for Aston drivers - they are probably way toooooooo coooool to wave.

Thou I suppose my panda does say
N.I. ITALIAN MOTOR CLUB along the bonnet so they probably would get it that I'm a bit of a fan of the things even if I'm not driving my 500

Aston owners probably have some funky bluetooth way of waving at each other..... hehe!

Jim

From experiance, Aston owners are not too cool to wave........it's usually a raise of two, or three at most, fingers off the steering wheel.

My problem with the new Astons, or should that be Martins from Aston, is that they have become too popular with the people who have money but no taste. I am quite tempted to raise two fingers of my own when one decides he (and its always a 'he') needs to be further up the traffic queue, because he has a DB9.

I still quite fancy an early 90's Virage, a proper handbuilt aluminium, (not aloominum) V8 of the old school.

Cheers

I've been waved at whilst in the 500, by a lad driving a Seicento, so I waved back.

We've also waved at a woman in a 500 whilst driving our Seicento, but no response, just a look which said, "who the f*ck are those two?"

So far I've been flashed and waved at by mini owners and I have flashed (my lights) at a cha azure 500 at sainsbury's and pretty lady pulled up next to me in a bos nova 500 2 days ago so I gave her a smile and a wave which she reciprocated with a wink and a smile...heh:cool:

I think the 500 gets a lot of attention from mini owners because they seem to be style conscious in their choice of car as well...I certainly feel no enmity from them!

Alan's just got back from Dublin in the 500 today and he was saying that the most interest is from a car with 2 or more girls in it as you pass each other....

One always points and dunts the the driver and you can see them mouth 'theres one!' :D

LOL
