Anybody know whether this compartment exists with leather seat option?
Can't find it on ours.....maybe having a dumb moment.

Don't know about the leather, but in the lounge, all I do is lift up the front of the passenger seat and it unlocks and tilts up, leaving a gap at the back where the backrest is. You just pull it out and up, and hey presto - secret squirrel compartment. If it's there, you'll know it.

Not available with the leather option unfortunately.

That's a shame, best stop tugging at it now before I break something!

Ohhhhhh. No leather seats for me then: shame. Still, save money I guess.

i don't even use mine...my dad even put some carpet to line it so when I put things in there they won't rattle around

But I have 'stuff', like the satnav, torch, wheel locks, log book, spare glasses, ice scraper, CDs etc etc., that I need to hide, and there isn't anywhere else..

An idea; but I don't fancy carrying the wheel locks, satnav, ice scraper, log book, CDs etc. around with me. I'm a bloke.

Oh well, I love my leather seats. .. they match my handbag!

P.S. I know where your secret storage compartment is . . .

Trust me, the leather seats are worth losing the storage compartment for.

I am wondering where to put chargers and stuff though.

It is annoying that the glove box doesnt have a bloody door!

Not for me it's not, just means there's one less place to loose things!!!!!!

I don't trust people who say 'trust me' And the leather, although very nice, does not offset well against the cheapo looking plastics of the seat and inner door areas, which is one of the main reasons I went with the standard interior in the end. Oh and that storage compartment, it's absolutely essential.

Okay then, BELIEVE ME .. the Frau leather is worth loosing a storage space for. The seats are very supportive, leather good quality, plus split rear/headrests come included with the leather option.

Having ordered without seeing a demonstator with full leather - I was DELIGHTED when I saw it!! SO pleased. I could not belieeeeeve it that you could choose red leather as an option ... (love the brown now too having seen it!)

Having downsized from an Alfa Romeo Sportwagon (Momo leather), I am very impressed with the plastic parts in my new cabin. It has never smacked of cheap.

I also LOVE the 500 Fabric, very retro, and totally different to any other cars out there.

Does anyone know why the full leather option does not have the storage?

I would always swop the storage for leather. This is my red leather

Does anyone have a photo they can post of the underseat storage for us, to see what we are missing out on?

I'll post lots of pics when I FINALLY get my car, but there's no knowing when that might be...perhaps never!!! It feels like this is all a dream and I didn't actually order one in the first place!
