500l

Hello, my first post. I have a 71' 500L which I replaced the battery. I put the smallest car battery I could find in my area. I think the CCA's (cold cranking amps) are around 500. Is that to much?? I can not find what it should be.....Thanks

Re: 500l

Hi, welcome to the forum. Don't worry about the CCA rating- the more you have the better the starting performance of the battery will be. Also remember that the Fiat 500 has a dynamo which doesn't really charge at idle so some extra capacity never goes amiss when you are sitting at idle with lights and wipers on. Happy motoring!
