My 500 has a 652cc Fiat 126p engine and most insurance companies view it as a major modification, I can get insurance for myself declaring the modifications but not for my son. I was wondering if anyone knew of any insurance companies that ensure 17 year old Fiat 500 drviers.

Try 'roadsure', I used to insure a V8 F*rd pop when i was early twenties, it was always under £300 fully comp, or try 'adrian flux' - or just dont tell them about the 650 engine :devil: !!

Thanks for your help. I've tried Adrian Flux already, I will try roadsure tomorrow. As for the engine, I will definitely have to declare it otherwise it might get voided.

i think your best bet, is to keep that engine mod to your self, and insure under your parents or your legal gaurdian.

thats what i did, im 20.

Unfortunately Roadsure doesnt exist anymore. Anyone else got any other reccomendations?
