It's 4000 post test, 1700 pre, I can see your point. Personally I can't see myself crashing and it may seem stupid me saying that, but I'm not the stereotypical modifier. I wouldn't rev the nuts off the car and show off, I'd much prefer for the car to look nice. which it does, and sound nice, which it doesn't at the moment, speed doesn't really bother me since most places have a slower speed limit these days.
Fair enough, chances are I would go to a meet, whether it be car/make specific, or a general meet, but I wouldn't be the kind of person to be doing reverse doughnuts to get some attention.
Thanks for refreshing my memory though about that, completely forgot about the consequences IF I do crash. I can imagine the insco's being really tight on trying to get another policy.
After hearing all this I might just stick to the car as it is, stick a replacement filter on rather then an induction kit, don't know if they do the same thing. Or if it changes the sound of the car, at least that way I don't need to notify the insurance company (hopefully). And get a backbox, if not a full system (I've checked the premiums with a modification and it only changed by around 50 pounds)
