General Suspension swap Grande Punto 2008 with Punto of similar age

Due to the state of the local roads (not good) I was thinking about swapping my car's front suspension (2008 fiat grande punto) with some suspension springs from a similar age punto in the hope that it will make the ride a bit softer.

Would this work and what problems do you think I might run into, additionally would it be ok to keep the rear suspension as is, or would I need to swap it out too?

I have a 1.3 diesel and an 875cc 2 cyl

The dampers and springs are different..different to the 1.2/1.4 FIRE also

The top turret : inner wing will be identical

The bottom fitting..2 bolts onto the hub will PROBABLY be the same too

You have the options of :

New Dampers
New Springs

Different spec of spring

New components... Droplinks.. cheap and easy
Wishbones..a lot more involved
