Cinquecento my green cinq project.

Introduction

The day i got the cinq sx with its crap racing stripes :p

looking rather good for its age 1995 no rust no dents no deep scuffs

i previously owned a mk1 punto 60s but ive always wanted a cinq so after i purchased cinq i striped the punto down to bear chassis including engine and gearbox :D loom and so on ive been collecting parts for the 1.2 conversion for a while p75 cams full engine rebuild re skim using a big cnc machine from college :) cinq gearbox and mounts ect

engine and gearbox came out today ?

the best way to get the box and engine out is to get an punto mk1 boot carpet
or something similar then put it on a smooth surface ive used mdf

then drop it onto the the carpet

and in hardly any effort you have to hole lot slid out no need to jack it up aether :)

Heh, haven't seen that done before :)

I suppose the car would raise itself up a bit as well, as the engine is coming out.

Not sure about the ECU tbh, I know it can be done, it's been mentioned around here before and someone probably knows off the top of their head. But you can either get them blanked, so they re-learn the next blue key/code block combo they come across, or have the immobiliser part disabled altogether.

punto-cinq
orange-orange
black/blue-grey/red
red-red
grey/green-grey/green
blue-2 light blue and white
pink/yellow-black/orange
brown/white-green/orange
yellow/grey-yellow/grey
black/grey-violet/black
white/grey-green/white

and on punto side red/black green violet/black unconnected
and for cinq side black/white orange/green unconnected
 
lol all you need is a wire from one of the coils from what i remember :)

and update time

first thing got the altinator sorted out all pulley swapped over because the bearing was gone in 16v one looking good :)

Ooh, very nice :)

What did you do, tape some glass paper to a worktop and run them around on that face down? Then polish up?

I know your finger is there to show how reflective they are, but it kinda looks like you are pointing them out as if we'd be distracted by something else in the picture :D
