Where do people jack up their GPs? I've got a basic low profile trolley jack, and am putting it under the little triangle arrows on the sills. When jacked to its max height, it's only enough to get it onto the 2nd from lowest height on some ratchet axle stands. The wheels are still touching the ground! I've got ramps, which are much better, but obviously no good for brake jobs.

Lower the trolley to its min, slide under the car @ arrow mark, place a piece of wood over the trolley's pad, lift the car, install the jack @ suspension sub-frame
Go to the other side and do the same ...

This way you'll be able to work on both sides in total security, don't forget to lose the wheel's bolts before lifting the car !!

BRs, Bernie
