Ok, this is a strange one...
The accelerator pedal on our 1.4 16v Eleganza sometimes feels like it pulses or vibrates under your foot. It is a strange feeling and makes it difficult to hold a steady throttle.
Now as the throttle is nothing more than a potentiometer connected up to the ECU I wonder if the internal spring mechanism may be breaking up inside or if something else untoward is happening?
For the sake of £30 odd on ebay I'm happy to just buy another and whack it on to eliminate it but my question is... are they all the same?
Does it just need to be from a petrol model? Will a 1.2 or 8v 1.4 do the job?
