I have a starter motor fault (1500 X1/9) and have sourced a replacement. I want to have it reconditioned before I fit it, after all, it's going to be 40 years old even if it really does work now.
Does anyone know of a place that would do a good job refurbishing an old starter motor? I live in Shrewsbaaary, so west midlands somewhere would be ideal, but obviously I can post it.
Don't know yet whether it's Marelli or Bosch, if that matters. It's still at the dealers and will get it delivered straight to the place, if I can find somewhere
