Has anyone bored their 34 DMTR carb on a 1500 X1/9? The Project X1/9 book talks about boring both venturis to 28mm - this doesn't seem too bad for the secondary which is already 26mm but seems a big increase from the primary from 23mm. I'm looking at this as a cheaper option to a twin carb set up and it should be good to about 120 hp, so should work with a reground cam and freer exhaust.
