Its me again. Can anyone say if the 1991 uno 45 uses the same disk pads as the 1988 70.
I will be needing new disk pads on the 70 soon but no one seems to be sure of the replacement as Jamaica is uno 45 country
i dont want to have to park the car to take the worn ones to be matched

Got the disk pads and fitted them. Seems they are just recycled Here in Jamaica cuz i needed to take in the old ones or pay more.

It now seems my booster is gone as when i psress the brake pedal there is s sound of rushing air from the brake area. The car stalls if i hold it down too long.

The manual says the 70 brakes are different as they have a vacuum servo, i am wondering i one from a newer 45 will work, or one from a toyota or some other jap model wheic we have heaps of in the scrap yards here

But you'll find most of the brake components are interchangeble on the "numbered models". (45/45s/55/60s/70/etc) Disc's and pads are shared across those models.

There are differences on the diesel, and turbo models, so these, so you won't be able to use those parts.

Had the same booster problem. Just had my booster replaced today but notable difference with the idle and obviously no stalling now
