hello there mates. Yesterday my fuel pump left me in the middle of my journey to work!!! RAC came to resque aparently the fuel pump was stack. the rac guy managed to unblock it by banging a hammer on it but i want to change it in case it happens again, after all this fuel pump was 96.000 miles on it. i tryed shop4parts but aparently they dont have any fuel pumps on their internet site. any idea where i can get one?

Not sure what type of pump is on your car (mechanical/electric) but there is a new one on eBay at the moment! it's curentley at £4

Shop4Parts don’t list all the parts they sell. It may be worth enquiring if they can get the part for you.

I got a set of callipers off them after a quick e-mail – nice price too .

mine is electric and is located under the back sit .

Just got a new electric one (universal) from the local shop, it cost £18 and took me like 20mins to fit.

not sure what they will cost from there tho!

The pump you bought will it be suitable for my 999cc fire? and if it is is it a straight fit? also if i send you the money could you buy one for me and i will arrange dhl to collect it from you.

The pump wasnt a "strate fit" i had to mount a bracket but this was very simple!
as for picking the pump up for you! i dont see why not but I'm sure if you go to any of your local shops they should be able to sell you a universel fuel pump.
