Hi all,

The clutch on my uno seems to be failing. I did give the slave cylinder a overall and is in the process of replacing the master cylinder. I started to find about the clutch kit and was told that there is 3 different kinds of clutch kits available and I should make sure which one is the one I need for my uno.

Any advice any one here can offer me please?

What issues are having with the clutch??

1. Is the clutch slipping?
2. Is the paddle soft or harder?
3. Are you struggling to engage gears?

Please give more information.

Well it started slipping then all the sudden it did not want to go into gear. The lever went into position but it was as if the clutch did not engage again. I stepped on the clutch paddle a few times and heard a clanking noise after which the gear lever went into gear again. The clutch paddle was very soft after that. I did see brake fluid coming out of the clutch master cylinder and that's why I am replacing him. I can just not believe the master cylinder can cause that kind of problem. But I will have time to finish the master cylinder tomorrow and will post if the problem is sorted.

I replaced the clutch and the clutch master cylinder but the clutch is still slipping. It is as if the release bearing isn't releasing after de pressing the clutch. I did however see that even after replacing the seals of the slave cylinder it is leaking again some how. Can the slave cylinder cause the clutch to slip? Can the release bearing be aligned incorrectly? Or can it be the fork on which the release bearing sits?
