Please help!!I just bought Uno 1100 two weeks ago. At first it was a bad idling which needed a foot to be always on accelerator pedal. Then engine cut off while driving to work then I manage to drive back home. But the morning after starter could crank but engine not firing up -but when I switch off the ignition its as if its about to start. I replaced ECU and petrol pump and even called an electrician, still nothing he suspected that carburetor could be faulty. I am confused could it be a faulty vacuum advance perhaps? I´t most likely a worn butterfly valve sensor.
Get a proper working injection unit an replace it.
Service all parts like filters , spark plugs and so on.
Check for corrodes cables an broken hoses.
Then reset the ECU by shortening the battery + cable to ground
for 30 sec. Then restart the engine without cutting out till it starts.
Let it run till the cooler fan turns on twice.
The ECU will learn to work perfectly on your engine.
