hi guys, i'm not mechanically minded, just trying to fix a problem with my MK1 UT. There seems to be a small amount of fuel leaking from here, please could someone tell me what this part is, i realise it's fuel related, i'm wondering if it's a filter? i have lost my haynes manuel for the car....

Yep, thats a Secondary fuel filter.

if it's leaking, take a good look at the connection of the pipe going into it on either side, make sure is tightened up ok, should be washers in there too.

as for part number.....gibe hani a call at interparts hounslow, he will more than likely have one on the shelf

The only part number i could find on Haynes manual.

1372 cc ie - Champion L201
1301/1372 cc Turbo ie - Champion L203

It appears both primary and secondary use the same element. Which one you got, 1301 or 1372 cc ?. Hope this helps.
