right the wiring has been sorted, managed to do work it out in the end!

next is the steering collumn, they've turned it or what ever until it broke, and now looks like this- got some bit which sticks out and locks up, i have no idea where to start, what i need to know is what new parts do i need just so i can drive it, and what new parts to have a steering lock all correct and working.

heres some pics, i have no idea what im missing or whats broken, crap pics im affraid but gives you an idea....

what it looks like to me is the collumn has a bit sticking out and it catches on something and locks up, im thinking i should be able to 'bash' the metal bit in therefore stopping it locking up

I wouldn't drive that Beau! last thing you want is the steering lock catching when your in a fast bend

I PM'd you on TC as I have the parts you need.

The steering lock I have is still attached to the frame bit and is not bent. Try as I may, I could not remove it, but I didn't take the brutal approach like the scum who fancied a JR in your UT.

You will find it easier (and safer) to replace the steering lock and bracket as one as there isn't any head on the bolts that hold lock to bracket. See what is holding them 2 broken bits of metal in place? that is what's left of your lock . you'd have to unscrew them and It's not worth bothering IMO.

Just noticed that your bolts may have heads. may be from when it was last replcaed, but they shouldn't be any.

Don't know if it's worth trying one off a standard Uno ;)
