Having owned a Tipo TD SX and used it as my daily driver for several years in the early 2000's and also a Sedicivalvole, a 1.8 i.e. and a 1.6 at the same time, I recently decided it was time I bought another one again and went on the hunt.

I subsequently bought this without actually seeing it from a friendly bloke in Pembrokeshire.

It had stood on his driveway for several years with no MoT. I paid a bloke to bring it over to my house and was amazed at the condition of it. It flew threw an MoT with only some minor fixes. Its a TD SX that appears to have been somebodies 'lovechild' at some stage, its been debadged and goes very quickly (much quicker than my old TD SX). It also likes a drink. On the last big run I did in it, it averaged 33mpg, not quite what I wanted...
Does anybody know anything about it?

A month ago I was offered a sedicivalvole MoT failure by a bloke in Oxford. Once having seen it I decided I had to have it if the price was right and a deal was subsequently struck. It was a non-runner due to a very leaky water pump and and MoT failure due to a holed exhaust manifold. Today it went straight through its MoT. Again I believe this is another 'loved car', according to the V5 its had 6 previous owners but only has 79,000 miles on the clock and judging by the state of it and the bundle of history I have, I think its correct.

Again does anyone know anything about this car? It goes very well and is in great nick. Now the problem I have is that along with these two I also have three other cars (of which one is a Mk1 Uno SX being restored) and a very grumpy wife so a Tipo has to go....

Well done on your acquisitions its been such a long time since I saw a TD on here. What modification has been undertaken on it, I cannot imagine? The 2.0 is very nice and is quite tempting problem I have is that we already have three cars a small drive and don't live on a farm.

Hello all

Thanks for the replies. Is that what the switch in the roof does cos it certainly doesn't operate the sunroof! :D
I should think the boost has been turned up along with the fueling cos it smokes like a train if you put your foot down hard. The boost gauge also disappears off the scale and a boost pressure warning lights comes on.

With respect to the Sedicivalvole I have T-Cut and polished it today and it will be advertised on here very soon...
Cheers
James
