Can anyone help me!
I own an H - reg 1.6 Tipo selecta automatic that is currently suffering ignition problems. I changed the leads, sparks, Distributor etc and no joy. I then thought that it may be the coil, after checking it in at a local mechanics' workshop again no joy. After much head scratching I have been informed by the mechanic that it is in fact the IGNITION PULSE, and a part that should normally cost 20 quid on all other models will cost 400 quid for the Selecta because it is different on the automatic and none are available in the UK, and it will have to be be shipped from fiat in Italy!!!!
I find it hard to stomach paying such a price as the car is only worth about that much, does anyone have any information on maybe picking up this specific part for the AUTOMATIC ONLY in the UK?
