where do peole jack the front of there cars up from with a trolley jack?
the only flat strong point is quite far under the car and has the arch liner in the way?

Get a big wooden block (say 4x4) and cut a groove in it so that the flange on the body sill sits in it at the jacking point. Then put the trolley jack under this block. You can use it for front and rear. At least that's what I have done for years with a Stilo. Tipo has plastic shrouding with cutaways for the jacking points so the block needs to be quite short.

Dont use a block of wood
I'd advise getting a bag pf3-1661 jack pad from power flex made from very heavy duty rubber and has un equal sides that very closey match the underside of the car like the factory sicsor jack
