OK now, my rear box blew a hole in it's side today, so now is the time for it's first modification.
I'm think Longlife stainless jobbie....but would you lose the first box after the cat and just run a rear box???

Or any other recommendations gratefully taken on board.

well you can do either really. If you want an off the shelf one then either a supersprint or a janspeed are both really good quality and long-lasting. I have used both and i found the supersprint rear boxes sound much better with the middle box removed as they are very quiet and sound almost standard. Whereas the Janspeed is alot more throaty, my current cinq has a janspeed and is pretty loud, no point at all removing the middle box unless you are going all out tuning with your car.
incidently, the janspeed i have is now quite old, it has seen many a cinq/sei in its time but is still as shiny and solid as a brand new one, can't fault it
