right then, dont have the cash just now but looking at the longer term plans.

on the turbo cinq it has a novitec exhaust fitted(well back box at least as i suspect the centre section may have been replaced)

so do i go for an off the shef zorst such as sportex?or go with a bespoke powerflow type exhaust seeing as the off the shelfs are designed with an NA engine in mind?

also what have other cinqers done about damage to the exhaust with lowered cars?mine has a nice scrape/flat bit on the bend between the middle/backbox.

also for turbo owners, what have they done with the front section from the turbo as mine has been flattened(before i got it!) below the bumper?

lol mine seems to bottom out on those really narrow speed bumps no matter what speed you go over them :(
need to do some investigating, think the front pipe from the turbo will need replaced. so i was thinking if i got a powerflow i could get them to make a decat pipe and drop a cat in for the MOT

Powerflow or many of the custom places for me are a NO NO, again I will state why.

A purpose built exhaust for say a Corsa doesn't fit a Cinq so why would you pay for some universal off the shelf box to be fitted to your Cinq after the guy that fits them just used the same on a completely different car?

I can't seeing it offerign the same performance as a specially designed one and I'll dig up a link which proves it to a cetain degree.

HOLD ON

..hated the powerflow on my Bravo, got a Longlife fitted on my Cinq, seems much better quality. I dunno the ins and outs of exhausts, so obviously one designed for a cento maybe better performance wise, but as of yet, I haven't seen any loss in performance with my custom one.

Each to their own as they say, and this is my just having my opinion :)

i would agree with that but the off the shelf ones are designed for an NA engine so it may not be particularly well suited to a turbo set up. thats why i was wondering in this case if it was perhaps better to go with a bespoke one
